The Responsibilities...

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality and efficient products from scratch, ensuring strong optimisation and functionality
• Introduce new cutting-edge front-end functionality to the products
• Stay updated about the latest web and front-end related technologies
• Document best practices and procedures
  

Your routine tasks:

• Proactively report to your line manager about your work and any issues.
• Document the code properly.
• Follow testing and QA processes to help ensure client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members, Product and Design team to help implement solutions within an Agile/Kanban framework.
• Manage & implement requested changes or new features with optimal quality and with respect for the timeframes you commit to.
• Develop and understand the diverse products (web&apps) and create robust, efficient and widely-compatible code.
• Research and solve problems that arise.
• Perform daily scrums & pair programming sessions.

Good to know before you apply:

• Fluency in English is essential. The Navozyme team is bilingual in English and Spanish and our meetings are usually conducted in English.
• At least 4 years of experience as a full time developer
• Exposure to the maritime startup innovation ecosystem will be an advantage
• You should be comfortable to work independently with minimum supervision
  

Front end tech stack experience that will be valued:

• Experience with React, Web standards (W3C), accessibility (WCAG), User Experience, responsive, web optimisation
  High JavaScript and TypeScript programming
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Post-CSS, ReactJS and Cypress
• Experience with Figma, BLoC architecture, GIT and Docker
